Eric Wisotsky was a Securities Analyst for a global Wall Street investment bank. He was spending too many evenings at his office and felt disconnected to his work.
Having been a Northwestern Mutual policyholder for several years prior to becoming a Financial Representative, Eric understood the positive impact he could have in a career that protects children, families, and businesses. There was a strong attraction to a career that allowed him to meaningfully impact people’s lives on a daily basis. After many conversations, Eric decided to leave Wall Street, move his wife and two children to Charlotte, and join the Worrell Network Office in 2007.
Eric shares his experience with the career and offers some advice:
"The company distinguishes itself by focusing on a process of identifying client needs and providing access to the highest quality risk-based solutions in the market. By concentrating on the process as opposed to the product we can create trusted long-term relationships with our clients."
"I made this career change with a wife and two young children. It was important for me to join a network that possessed a proven track for success. The career certainly has its challenges, but the Northwestern Mutual Financial Network has a turn-key system specifically designed to build a financial services clientele."
"The opportunity to build my own business was a key driver behind my career change. I could have had a fine career continuing down the corporate professional track I left, however, I would have never been able to develop the long-term independence that success in this business can provide."
"With a 150 year history of always doing the right thing for its clients, there is no finer financial institution to represent. There are few people in this world that can say they are affiliated with a company that has been voted by its competitors as the most admired in its industry, every year for the past quarter century."
Eric is active in the community. He co-founded the Syracuse University Alumni Club of Greater Charlotte, where he currently serves as Treasurer and a member of the Board of Directors. He also enjoys just about any outdoor activity including coaching his son’s soccer team.
